R. Adam Fishman is the CEO of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, a New England-based network designed for private practice owners who want to achieve success without sacrificing their independence. Fusion’s unique model empowers practices to retain their identity while providing access to critical resources such as compliance, clinical excellence, HR, and marketing—driving growth and long-term success. Today, Fusion consists of five brands, operating over 10 outpatient locations and 20+ senior living community sites.
Prior to leading Fusion, Adam served as CEO of CPTE Health Group from 2007 to 2023, where he played a transformative role in expanding the company from a single clinic into a thriving practice with 6 outpatient clinics and more than 20 senior therapy locations across Southern New Hampshire and Greater Boston. Under Adam’s visionary leadership, CPTE became known for its dedication to clinical excellence, personalized patient care, and fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth. His strategic foresight in navigating healthcare trends and adapting to the evolving landscape enabled CPTE’s sustained growth and success.
As one of the original founders of CPTE in 1989, Adam held key operational and financial leadership roles throughout its expansion. His expertise in scaling practices while maintaining a patient-first approach is reflected in Fusion’s mission to help independent practice owners achieve sustainable growth and operational efficiency without losing their autonomy.
In addition to his work in healthcare, Adam is an accomplished entrepreneur with experience across multiple industries. He founded the American Movie Poster Company, establishing himself as a leading expert on movie poster valuations, and founded Hypobaric Systems, a prosthetics supply company. He also served as CFO of Misomex International, a global leader in high-tech printing equipment.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester.
