Advisor
Fred Daniels is a co-founder of the Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise (CPTE). CPTE opened its doors over 35 years ago, growing from a single outpatient clinic in Nashua, New Hampshire to seven locations across the state. With Fred’s leadership, the company expanded into senior therapy services with a division known as Engage Senior Therapy. Engage currently partners with over 20 senior living communities across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Fred began his career at the Sports Training Institute (STI) in New York City, where he worked as a sports conditioning specialist and personal trainer for professional and college teams, as well as corporate wellness facilities. During this time, Fred collaborated closely with physical therapists and athletic trainers, sparking his interest in rehabilitation and exercise science.
Fred’s early roles at CPTE included working alongside therapists, managing the aquatic therapy program, developing a personal fitness program, and providing sports conditioning services to local high schools. As CPTE expanded, Fred shifted his focus to growing sports medicine services, adding athletic trainers to area high schools and local sports programs. He also spearheaded CPTE’s marketing efforts, which included offering pain screenings, exercise classes, and health presentations to senior centers in the community.
Fred played a pivotal role in CPTE’s entry into senior therapy, where he collaborated with assisted living and memory care facilities to develop wellness classes aimed at improving residents' health. This initiative led to the creation of a Senior Fitness Program, which grew to employ six exercise specialists teaching over 75 classes per week.
Today, Fred focuses on marketing and developing new rehabilitation facilities for CPTE. He contributes his expertise as an advisor to Fusion.
